Warranty

Warranty Period

Unless otherwise stipulated by law, all warranty periods commence at the latest upon delivery or provision of the service to the Customer.

Statutory Warranty Rights

The Customer is entitled to statutory warranty rights.

Customer Obligations

The Customer must provide the Seller with the necessary time and opportunity to perform any required subsequent performance, including handing over the defective goods for inspection.

Warranty Claims Period

Warranty claims can be asserted within 2 years of the transfer of risk.

Replacement Delivery

In the event of a replacement delivery, the Customer must return the defective goods in accordance with statutory provisions.

Refusal of Chosen Subsequent Performance

The Seller reserves the right to refuse the type of subsequent performance chosen by the Customer if it involves disproportionate costs. This includes situations where:
  • The costs of subsequent performance exceed the value of the defect-free goods.
  • The costs of subsequent performance exceed the reduction in value caused by the defect.
  • An alternative type of subsequent performance is more favorable and does not disadvantage the Customer.
In such cases, the Customer’s warranty claim is limited to the alternative type of subsequent performance. If the alternative type is also associated with disproportionate costs, the Seller may refuse subsequent performance altogether.

Exclusions of Warranty Claims

Warranty claims by the Customer are excluded in the following cases:

  • The defect is caused by improper use for which the Customer is responsible.
  • Damage results from improper use despite the provision of correct care instructions for the goods.
  • Defects are caused by natural wear and tear, improper use, or improper handling.

The Seller also assumes no liability for services provided by external companies commissioned by the Customer.
